| It has been way way too long I know. I have had a very stressful and hard few months to say the least. I've been busy with school and finals that the Lord that is over!!! As of right now I have 2 more semesters at ACU after that I'm off to Nursing School...that I am super pumped about! I'm so ready to be a nurse and help people in as many ways as I can.Thats a quick update on my schooling life.
Now for those of you who don't know my mezmama(grandmother) Emma passed away. She was my dads mom. She had MRSA which is a very hard infection to be rid of because it becomes resistant to anything we try and kill it with. She has always been a tough little lady.Having leukemia and stage 4 lung cancer and we found out the cancer had spread to the brain as well. Nothing was looking good, I went home for a weekend just to be with family and see what was going on because I knew they were keeping things from me.Going and seeing her for myself gave me a better idea of what was going on. and its not like the brothers in the family understood what was happening so i knew i needed to find out what was really going on. Right before I went back to abilene I went in one last time to say my good byes because I knew the next time I was home it would be for the funeral. but obviously everyone else was in denial. The nurse that was in there with her ended up telling be a lot because I was telling her how I'm a nursing student and all that. she gave me the DL and showed me the chart .I went to my mom in the waiting room and explained everything and told her there is no hope the sons need to make a decision. They finally started talking about it but then she opened her eyes which was just the body reacting its not a big deal but they didn't understand that. So they kept her alive for another week. Finally they let her go... she will be missed and its still really hard but it was the best thing for her because even if my some miracle she came out of it she would have only lived a month full of pain and suffering.

Now the summer begins and I have a feeling its going to be a hard summer in some ways. I am working as a children's intern again so I'm looking forward to that. It should keep me busy. I'll try and update this more. y'all have a good week!

| Ah, well I have been pretty consumed with my classes. Don't get me wrong I actually enjoy most of them well more specifically my science classes yeah I'm a nerd. I've embraced that fact so it's all good.
Some very exciting news! I am for sure going on that medical mission trip to Mexico over spring break!!! Man can we say God answers prayers! yeah baby!!! and the really good thing about it is.....it is completely paid for. WOW God really does love me. I'm super excited about this if you couldn't tell. We get to do hands on stuff with this clinic super sweet deal I think and the group that is going up is great! There is about 20 of us so keep us in your prayers. The only down side to this is I won't be going home until summer....ehh that's a long time. y'all take care and stay tuned for more exciting happenings in Abilene Texas hah

| It has been some time since I have updated. Well I have been trying but this stupid xanga doesn't let me put pictures up and I have some good ones. oh well.
I've already had a week of classes and things are looking good-ish. I really enjoy my Microbiology class and a&p I know I 'm a nerd, I can't help it. Well its super cold here like non-other freezing it might even snow tonight!!!!!!!! the only down side it there is ice everywhere and I ate it this morning on the stairs yeah laugh I give you permission. It hurt so bad like it took the wind out of me! damn the ice!
Some exciting news I might be going to Mexico on a medical mission trip over spring break!!! well that is if God makes it possible,so keep that in your prayers.
